Mr. Douglas S. Ehrman has dedicated a significant portion of his career to “pairs trading” and been recognized as one of the country’s leading experts in the field.
He has been the featured speaker at several investment conferences, published a variety of articles in such publications as Futures Magazine, and appeared regularly on the CNN Financial Network to discuss market-neutral investing. Mr. Ehrman has gained acclaim for both his expertise and for his accessible writing and teaching style.

Mr. Ehrman is the author of The Elements of Pairs Trading, considered the standard resource for pairs trading. John Wiley & Sons, Inc. released his second book, The Pairs Trading Handbook, in the spring of 2006.
Mr. Ehrman was the editor of a daily financial newsletter for several years, has trained several traders in his methodology, and has served as a consultant to several institution trading groups.
Mr. Ehrman graduated in Economics and Philosophy from Lake Forest College, cum laude with special honors. He began his career with Northern Trust as a Cash Management Consultant before joining UBS Asset Management. He left UBS to build the Operations area of a billion dollar asset manager before turning his full attention to trading. |
